So I forgot to take a picture of yesterday's shopping haul, but we did pretty good. Today we did pretty well for only $10.46!
So at
Safeway we got:
4 Bailey's coffee creamer that will probably be used in coffee, hot chocolate, and maybe a milkshake or two. We froze them because according to the internet this is possible!
10 Powerade zeros
This would have been $24.54 before sales and coupons but I paid $5.10
After the sales prices I used 5 BOGO coupons that a blog told me to print for the powerade, making them about $.35 each
I also used 4 $1.00 coupons clipped from inserts doubled to $1.50 each, making the creamer $.19 each! Not bad!
Walmart was a little better because I now have a donation to a needy mother to make (although it did require 6 transactions between Cody and I):
-Transaction 1:
1 Similac Sensitive formula $3.84
1 bag of long grain white rice $1.56
------------------------------------------------
Subtract a $5 off any Similac product = $ 0.20

I would say that is not a bad shopping day at all! We have an $80 for two weeks shopping budget and we still have $25 left. I am feeling happy about finances this week
(Cody: but that still doesn't mean we can go out to dinner! I don't even think he read's my posts though!) :-)
