Willamette Week's Give! Guide 2011 is featuring some top deserving charities that are asking for donations. The one that I am highlighting in this blog is one that runs close to my heart.

Harper's Playground is a wonderful cause, Their mission and explanation of what they are doing goes like this:
" Harper’s Playground will build community
by providing an inclusive playground
at Arbor Lodge Park where children
and adults of all abilities can play together."
I particularly enjoy that they don't refer to being open to people with disabilities and instead refer to the positive people of all abilities. It warms my heart when people focus on what others are able to do, rather than what they are not able to do.
You can donate whatever you want to to this cause, but you can also donate $250 or more and get a Harper's Playground Personalized Plaza Paver. They are only about $100,000 away from their goal!
Please go to their website, read up on them and donate! They would reach their goal of only 4,000 people gave $25 each!
